Amanda Pechatsko is the clinical administrator of the WVU Department of Radiology. She oversees both the clinical and physician operations for general diagnostic and interventional radiology for pediatric and adult patients.
Pechatsko joined WVU Medicine in 2018 after working at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center (UPMC), as part of UPMC Presbyterian/Shadyside, in a variety of clinical leadership roles within imaging services and sports medicine.
After graduating from the Washington Hospital School of Radiologic Technology in Washington, Pennsylvania, she began her career as radiologic technologist at several hospitals, including J.W. Ruby Memorial Hospital. She earned advanced certification in computed tomography (CT). She received a bachelor’s degree in healthcare management from Ottawa University in Ottawa, Kansas, and is working on a Master of Business Administration degree with a concentration in healthcare administration from the same institution.
