Michaela Dolde, MHA, is the assistant vice president of operations at WVU Medicine Children’s.
She was an important part of the transition to the new Children’s Hospital by preparing all staff and providers for routine and emergency situations and conducting mock scenario and unit readiness training. Dolde played a pivotal role in establishing key hospital and local agency partnerships to strengthen capabilities and keep patients and families close to home.
Prior to her current role, Dolde held several leadership positions, including the director of performance excellence at Children’s, where she led quality and safety, process improvement, infection prevention, and patient experience. She also served as the Children’s Heart Center manager and the Department of Pediatrics’ division manager.
