Treatments and Services

We’re dedicated to providing your child with the best possible care for all conditions of the lungs. Our team of experts from several medical disciplines works together to address your child’s individual healthcare needs.

At the first appointment, we’ll perform a complete checkup and medical history. To further examine your child’s condition, a pulmonary specialist may perform diagnostic exams, like pulmonary function testing, bronchoscopy, or cardiopulmonary exercise testing. If any imaging services, like x-rays, are needed, our providers will interpret your child’s medical images with their expertise and discuss any abnormalities with you.

We have more than two decades of experience caring for children with cystic fibrosis at the WVU Medicine Cystic Fibrosis Center. WVU Medicine Children’s is dedicated to providing a personalized treatment plan that helps your child breathe with more ease.
